It all started in 1989 when Joseph LiCalzi and Karen Cestro met on a bench in Francis Lewis “Whitestone” Park (see the first picture on the left). Married in ‘92 and three kids later – the rest is history. My main concept behind these photos was to capture the essence of nostalgia that a single place to sit like an old park bench can hold.
