“Oh No Blazeface” Type Spec Sheet

My design ideation process for these type specimen sheets began with thorough research, hand sketching letterforms in order to study type anatomy, and brainstorming a crazy list of themes to best pair with a typeface of my choice. I was most drawn to “Oh No Blazeface” by type designer James Edmondson because of its quirky and vintage look. After extensive research, I created multiple sheets with the type embodying a 70’s concept while including information such as the type foundry, the designer, and a pangram exhibiting all of the letterforms.
